Kolhapur State (1707–1949) was a Maratha princely State of British India, under the Deccan Division of the Bombay Presidency, and later the Deccan States Agency. It was considered the fourth most important of the Maratha principalities, the other three being Baroda State, Gwalior State and Indore State. Its rulers, of the Bhonsle dynasty, were entitled to a 19-gun salute - thus Kolhapur was also known as a 19-gun State

India Phaltan Princely State Fiscal Stamps

Phaltan State was one of the non-salute Maratha princely states of British India. It was under the central division of the Bombay Presidency . The Hindu ruling family was descended from Naik Nimbaji Nimbalkar (1284–1291), a Maratha who received a grant from a Mughal emperor in the 14th century. The ruler had the title of Raja, or Naik Nimbalkar. The first wife, SaiBai, of 17th century emperor Shivaji was from Phaltan. Major HH Raja Bahadur Shrimant Malojirao Mudhojirao Nanasaheb Naik Nimbalkar IV was the last Ruler of Phaltan.

Bastar state was a princely state in India during the British Raj. It was founded in the early 14th century,supposedly by a brother of the last ruler of the Kakatiya dynasty proper, Prataparudra II. In the early 19th century the state became part of the Central Provinces and Berar under the British Raj, and acceded to the Union of India on Jan 1, 1948, to become part of the Madhya Pradesh in 1956, and part of the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh state, 2000 onwards
